8 GREAT DESTINATIONS TO SPEND LABOR DAY WEEKEND (THAT DON’T REQUIRE A PASSPORT)

Destinations-don't-require-passport

August is already halfway over, which means Labor Day weekend is only a few weeks away. In my book, Labor Day weekend is the official start of fall. As a child it always meant school would be starting soon… And as an adult I get excited for sweaters, boots and Halloween decorations. Because it is the last holiday most of us get until Thanksgiving, we should make the most of it!

I’m rounding up 8 great destinations to spend the long weekend (that don’t require a passport) with your significant other, family or friends. I’m breaking it down between places on the water and a few destinations not on the water. A couple of these spots are on my bucket list, while the others are ones I’ve visited and love.

8 GREAT DESTINATIONS TO SPEND LABOR DAY WEEKEND (THAT DON’T REQUIRE A PASSPORT)

  • Charleston
  • San Juan
  • Cape Cod
  • New Orleans
  • Chicago
  • Lake Tahoe
  • Napa Valley
  • Nashville

DESTINATIONS NOT ON THE WATER

NAPA VALLEY | If you love wine, go vineyard hopping in Napa. Because of its location, the temps are always mild. Therefore, it’s a top contender for a long holiday weekend.
