A Holiday Away is officially celebrating its ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY – and to celebrate I am sharing a round-up of my favorites blog posts! I cannot believe a year has already flown by. I’ve met (virtually) some wonderful people and love the support I’ve received from all of you!
Year One Favorite Blog Post Round-Up
Whistler, British Columbia
My very first post! Thinking back on that day, I was so nervous to hit publish! It can still be intimidating to share posts, as I’m sure many of you bloggers would agree. With Whistler‘s close proximity to Vancouver, it makes a great day trip for those looking to leave behind the big city.
Southern Arizona Wine Country
My mom and I spent a day at Charron Vineyards in southern Arizona and had such a great time. Who knew Arizona had Vineyards… and produced good wine?! In fact, Arizona has two main wine regions; southern Arizona in the Sonoita region and northern Arizona, in the Verde Valley.
The Flower Fields
How can this NOT be on my list, just look at those flowers!! The Flower Fields are a truly unique sight; acre after acre of rolling hills, completely covered in colorful blooms! And since they only bloom a couple months out of the year, it’s an extra special place to visit!
Victoria, British Columbia
I think this is my all time favorite post! I’m such a Canada lover. And Victoria B.C. is a quintessential Canadian city. Check out my 3-Day Itinerary before your next trip!
One of the cities I covered in my “6 Hours in…” series, Würzburg rounds out my list. Located in the Franconia region of Bavaria in Germany, it has a fascinating history. Mostly destroyed by bombs during WW2, it was rebuilt almost entirely by women!
This first year of blogging has been so much fun. Thanks again for all of your support! I can’t wait to see what year two has in store for A Holiday Away! Cheers!
